RSCC coaches are required to meet the CEU requirements for the CSCS and complete the recertification cycle every three year period as well as complete the RSCC renewal course every year in order to maintain the RSCC destination.

The NSCA’s Recognized Certified Personal Trainer (RCPT) Program recognizes individuals who have demonstrated experience and knowledge in the field of personal training. RCPT’s apply practical, foundational knowledge to assess, motivate, educate, and train clients. The RCPTdesignation encourages high standards of professional practice and responsibility.

The Tactical Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year Award is awarded to the coach whose influence within his or her assigned tactical (military, law enforcement, fire and rescue) setting exceeds that of peers. Achieving this influence can be the result of one or multiple coaching related accomplishments such as but not limited to measurable performance improvements or injury reduction, program creation, advancement through innovation, and other initiatives that enhance wellness, health, and performance at the local level.

This award is a recognition given to NSCA members who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to and effectiveness in Equity, Leadership, Empowerment, Visibility, Access, Training, and Excellence within Strength and Conditioning.
