The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is proud to announce the recipients of the organization’s 2024 Tactical Awards. Nominated by the NSCA community, these distinguished awards honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the tactical strength and conditioning community.

The National Strength and Conditioning Association Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the foundation’s 2019 grants. Since the Foundation’s creation in 2007, it has awarded 154 grants, which includes the 16 new recipients this year. This year’s recipients add to the prestigious legacy of those who came before them and fulfill the foundation’s mission of supporting the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) by providing funding for educational and research endeavors that enhance the practical applications of strength and conditioning.

In July, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) announced that by 2030 (target date) the eligibility for the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) examination will require candidates to gradate with a bachelor’s degree in a strength and conditioning related field, from a program accredited by an NSCA-approved accrediting agency.

The Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education, commonly referred to as CASCE, is a nonprofit accrediting agency devoted to advancing the strength and conditioning profession. We provide accreditation to collegiate-level education programs specializing in strength and conditioning. We rely on peer-reviews by academic and industry professionals to assess standards of quality, ensuring relevant curriculum and effective instruction.
