Assistant College Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year: Kenna Smoak Minnici, MA, CSCS, RSCC*D
The purpose of the National Strength and Conditioning Association Foundation (NSCAF) is to support the mission of the National Strength and Conditioning Association by providing funding for educational and research activities that enhance the practical application of strength and conditioning.
The Educator of the Year Award is presented to an educator who has made noteworthy contributions to education and clinical application of strength training and conditioning.
The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Headquarters features a 6,000 square foot state-of-the-art Performance Center designed specifically to train clients of all fitness levels—from youth and novice to tactical and elite. The NSCA Performance Center serves as a proving ground for the testing and application of scientific principles optimizing sport performance, and offers private, semi-private, and group training services for individuals and teams.

Mentor Qualification Criteria:
● Identify as female
● Three plus years of relevant work experience
● NSCA Certified
o CSCS required for coaching mentor
o TSAC-F or CSCS required for tactical mentor
o NSCA-CPT or CSPS required for personal training mentor
o CPSS required for sport science mentor
● Masters degree or higher required for research or academic career mentor
The Nutritional Research Award is given annually to recognize a nutritionist for their breakthroughs and contributions in field of nutritional research for athletes.
